Murder at the V.A.

Father 27 is a murder mystery written by James C. Hays. This fictional story takes place at the Jefferson Barracks Veterans Hospital in St. Louis. Canton Fish, Independent Crime Scene Investigator and patient at the V.A. is called upon to solve a string of blatant murders. He is assisted, and sometime hindered, by a parade of colorful characters---a naive chief of police, an arrogant, millionaire United States Marshal, a private investigator with a chameleon personality and a former stripper and prostitute. The book culminates in a high-speed car chase through the streets of St. Louis that ends under The Arch with the perp being persued into the Mississippi River. You'll be surprised at thr true identity of Father 27. This book is available on Nook and Kindle for $2.99. I hope you enjoy reading it.
